Austin Rapier, LISW

Austin enjoys working with teens and young adults as they navigate life's challenges, build confidence, and work toward meaningful goals. He believes counseling is most effective when there is a genuine connection between therapist and client, and he strives to create a welcoming environment where clients feel heard, supported, and encouraged.

Austin grew up in the south, and earned his undergraduate degree in Ministry and Leadership from Toccoa Falls College in Georgia, and his master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Crown College. His professional background includes ministry leadership, volunteer development, and working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences. These opportunities have strengthened his passion for helping people grow, overcome challenges, and discover their strengths. Austin enjoys working with a variety of clients from all walks of life.

As a lifelong athlete, Austin understands the value of hard work, perseverance, and resilience. He enjoys helping clients develop practical skills to navigate stress, depression, anxiety, relationships, life transitions, and personal challenges with greater confidence.  He uses a strengths-based approach to highlight every client’s ability to transition and change, and their positive potential in their situation. Austin considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they pursue growth, healing, and lasting change.

Outside of counseling, Austin enjoys watching Atlanta Braves baseball, making memories with his wife, and keeping up with his two children.
